Well ... this particular bug appears upon restart and forces a rehost ... I never saw it prior to Lux 6.05 ... it's been particularly troublesome in the last three days ... seen it a dozen times ... hosting on a fully updated OS X 10.5.8 system ... and I can't pin the troubles on any recent changes to my installed software ...

Any suggestions dustin ... ?

I just downloaded the newest version of lux, and for some reason it always resizes my info box too small so that i can't see the bottom most players info. Is this a bug or am i just completely missing something. Btw, this is the windows version.

Hello!

So, here's the situation:

I want to host a game of Lux (a private one, so that my girl and I can play together. She's in Florida, I'm in VA)

I have tried typing my ip into my address bar and using port forwarding to let port 6619 through. This did not work.

I have tried using Airport Extreme Utility to work with port mapping, but since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, I no longer see this tab.

I have tried just completely turning off my firewall, no luck.
I have made sure Lux is allowed (allow incoming connections, etc) via firewall, nothing.

I have tried giving my girl the ip for my computer, my public/external ip, and yet she cannot enter my private room (nor could Nimmy).
She tried creating a room, I used her ip address, same deal and we could not play together.

My question is... what else can I do to try and play a game with just her and I?

I've hosted before... yet everything I've tried before does not work...

What now?

Edit: I have Java completely updated as well as Lux completely updated

Stazang is hosting games right now that feature a black background the same color as the black player. I have seen this many times from different hosts since the update and can't figure out how to correct it for myself or others.

I've got a weird trifle and thought it was my mouse when it happened before.

If I hit <ALT> and immediately release, the next mouse click (left or right) doesn't work. I have to click again. This can be quite confusing when placing tens of men alternating to other unit numbers.

After some researches I found out that it seems to depend on the JRE version. This issue happens with JRE 6 Update 10 and newer (Update 7 is still ok). Each Lux version I've tested (5.72, 6.02 and 6.03) behaves the same. Not sure in how far it depends on the operating system but at least my XP with SP2 is affected.

No biggie, just liked to mention it.

I am running Lux Delux version 6.02 on Java build 1.6.0_15-b03 on both Windows XP and Debian Linux (stable). Frequently when the time comes to cash my cards when the cards become automatically selected and highlighted at the beginning of my turn, I can click the "Cash Cards" button but it does not do anything. The button is clicked down and then raises and can be clicked multiple times, but the cards are not cashed nor can I exit the screen. I can select and deselect the cards, but my only option to get out of the cards screen is to quit the map and begin a new game.

I just got a new PC at work and every time I load the forums I have to log in as new. Even if it's only been an hour or so. Then when I log in I don't have the new post notifications. I didn't have the problem on my old computer so there must be some type of setting that I don't have right. A little help would be much appreciated.
