I often times don't wear my glasses and even then have a hard time reading the chatter box, is there an option to adjust the font size?

Unfortunately, there isn't.

You could change the resolution of your monitor display if you wanted everything bigger.

Just curious: What kind of computer are you on?

I am running Windows 7 at the moment, but this was an issue still when running XP. As you stated, my resolution is set at 1280X 1024.
