Tonight i had a lot of fun playing many of the 2009 winning maps from luxtoberfest. i recognized them from the awards ceremony, but i had never downloaded them before. They're quite wonderful and it gave me an idea. Perhaps they could be grouped together on the lux plug in manager so that they would be more easily recognizable. that way we could just download the whole package at once. it would give good recognision to the winners and also hopefully make their maps more accessible. just a thought.

Behemoth has made some great maps & so has Lupus Ferox. They make very polished themes and fun playable maps. A Large Thank You to both of you for taking the time to make fun playable maps for us to battle on!

I actually did win a map award

and two of my maps (Classic Part Trois and Seeds of Empire) were runners up. But no offense taken either.

Anywho, I think it's a cool idea as well. You could even bundle them by year.

One not too hard thing to do would be to add "Winner of the Luxtoberfest 6 Best X Map Award." to the bottom of map descriptions in the plugin manager. Then a search for Luxtoberfest would turn them all up in the results.
