Scientia Fabula Nearly 7000 years ago, spanning what we now call the Aegean and Ionian Seas, there thrived an advanced civilization, that in a span of some 500 years had developed technology we today have only dreamed of in science fiction. Their matriarchy, uninterested in the conquest and control of her neighbors, instead continually developed her immense capital with the most brilliant minds and technological advancements. As the nucleus of her empire grew, the periphery eventually faded away, until all that was left was one great mountainous city. Some say this city was lost to the sea in a cataclysmic flood, or meteorite hit, others say the city wondrously rose above the clouds into the heavens. Some call it Mount Olympus, some call it Atlantis, but all we do know about this reclusive civilization is what has been passed to us through time, in story, song and legend. It is said they had a great and shiny arena, bricked of glass and mortared with colorful light. It is there they would play games of strategy and wit, never in hate or for spite.
