 | Krynn version 1.1 rated 3.1 (87 votes) by Gus Lindquist as generated by Lux Mapper, by Gus Lindquist | For dragonlance fans out there, here is my first version of a map of Krynn. (well, the continent of Ansalon at least).
I'm happy to say that this it the first map I've generated, in only 30 minutes time, from a Mapping GUI utility I've developed specifically for Lux. Right now it is "alpha" stage, meaning that I can use it successfully to do pretty much anything I want, but I can break it easily. When I get the kinks out of it, I'll post it somewhere as shareware. However, if you are feeling daring, feel free to email me (lindquist@beastware.com) and I'll send you a very breakable, yet functional alpha.
Cheers!
Gus

 | Mid Atlantic States version 2.3 rated 3.1 (84 votes) by A.Vespucci | Conquer the NE US from the Adirondacks and Lake Ontario to the North all the way to the Chesapeake and Washington, DC to the South! Own the famed beaches of Long Island, the Jersey Shore, Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Stake your territory Westward to the Appalachians! Gain control of the Big Apple and the Capital Beltway.
This is a large map of the five Mid Atlantic States (NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE) and Washington, DC by county. Each county is a Country. Traditional Regions in Each State are Continents. Bonus points are based on an algorithm that takes into account both number of Counties ("Countries") and actual population figures. Therefore, some densely urban, but small areas contain a disproportionate amount of bonus points, making play challenging and unorthodox. In this version, continent bonuses have been recalculated to give more weight to dense population centers. Don't overlook undervalued but highly strategic locales like Delaware.
The softly muted background theme is a collage of iconic photographs from various areas throughout the Middle Atlantic States.
I have also included an enlarged map of the NYC Metro area as an inset to make play easier for these small countries Lines have now been drawn depicting where real bridges and tunnels connect the boroughs of NYC with one another and the mainland.
In Version 2.3, I have adjusted continent bonuses to make play more level. In the last version, some continent bonuses were so large, it was difficult for other players to compete against the owners of these continents (esp., NYC, the Delaware Valley, Potomac, etc.)

 | Tasmania version 1.3 rated 3.1 (83 votes) by Rick Godman | A beautiful place to live. Because the roads in this map are accurate to the real world, there are a number of towns at the south end of the map easily defended by holding 1 or 2 choke points. On the other hand, cities are worth a bonus and three of them are in the north. The clickable area of each town/city is much larger than it looks, clicking anywhere near the town/city will do. |

 | KAOS version 1.02 rated 3.1 (77 votes) by top row | KAOS - Battle of the Spies
Team up with spies from TV and movies to wrest control of the world from KAOS. Beware of KAOS double agents who are visible in your midst as well as unidentified black-suited agents, whom might catch you off your guard.
Each KAOS double agents has an un-identified black-suited agent, meaning each of those "countries" has three parts. Be careful as Spy Power "country army" numbers only appear over the KAOS Headquarter part of each KAOS spy. As movement arrows cannot be custom located, they will not be accurate when attacking to or from a KAOS agent.
Make Maxwell Smart proud and battle for spy supremacy.
Use of foreground image (swirls) meets iconBazaar.com's terms of usage.
Version 1.02 - expanded to 900 pixels wide. Game play sidebar instructions added. |

 | Europe war version 1.2 rated 3.1 (59 votes) by Caio Mauro and Mark Bauer | Modification of Mark Bauer's WWII Europe map.
Variante mappa Mark Bauer Europa War
Story:
The year is 2025, the grand experiment that was the European Union has failed! Yet again the continent plunges into an all out war! Each country is growing increasingly suspicious of the others as alliances crumble and chaos ensues. It’s now becoming clear that this time no one will have allies and no one will be safe! The American Republic sees this as their opportunity to finally model all of Europe after themselves. Britain is forced to beg Canada to come to their aid. It is time for a new European order, scratch that, it’s time for a NEW WORLD ORDER!
Rules:
The dotted lines are not lines of attack, but borders for the sea zones.
The squares in the sea zones represent fleets. Sea zones can attack any adjacent sea zone or coastal territory. Any coastal territory can attack any adjacent sea zone.
Or in Italian if you prefer:
Storia:

 | Luxtoberfest Survivor version 1.0 rated 3.1 (56 votes) by SunTzu & Preacherman | The Official Luxtoberfest Survivor Map
Luxtoberfest Survivor is a tournament that pits teams of players against each other in a 3v3 or 2v2v2 format where each team is given a mission. The first team that accomplishes their mission wins the match.
RULES
After each game, the winning team will vote off a single member of the losing team(s). A player must have played at least one game before being voted off.
You are not allowed to kill a member of an opposing team unless it is stated in your mission - if this happens, the team that made the kill loses by default. So think before you click! Any player with only one territory must attack for a card. This means we can't get into a stalemate situation.
Once a team has only one reamining player, they are eliminated from the tournament. |

 | Runescape version 2.0 rated 3.1 (54 votes) by Seth Myhre | Runescape the massave fabled land is now a Lux map!
Those who have not played Runescape may not understand how things are connected, but no worry I have marked them on the map. To simplify things I didn't add teleportation ability (If I had you could get to any city from anywhere). Transportation by Gnome Gliders, and ships are still usable - and are marked apropriately. Spirit Trees are marked but not usable for transport. Unlike Runescape the Gnome Gliders can get to any other glider. The Gnomes currently are the only race that knows how to get to Crash Island, so you have to take a Gnome Glider to get to it. The red teleport is a one way trip from entrana to Mid Wilderness. The Blue Teleport is a two way connection from Ardougne to the Deserted Keep. The Green Teleport is a two way connection from Tutorial Island to Lumbridge. All black areas are uncharted regions of the map and as of yet have not been explored in the game. Enjoy Being an adventurer in the land of Runescape!
Version 2.0: Fixed connection between Seers Villiage and Catherby
Version 1.9: Woops I was too tired to think the connection made in 1.8 was not to lumbridge but to Port serim.
Version 1.8: Fixed connection from Port Serim to Crandor it is now two way as it should be.
For those with small screens: This is a large map 970x768 pixels.
Disclaimer: This map is based off the online RPG Runescape. Runescape is property of the Jagex company. Therefore I have not used any map pictures or logos from it. Just about all the country names have names from Runescape though. |

 | BIG TROUBLE version 1.01 rated 3.1 (50 votes) by Behemoth | You are a GIGANTIC MONSTER hell-bent on the senseless annihilation of every city in the world. Problem is there are five other monsters loose with exactly the same agenda. What are the odds...
To make matters worse the pesky humans have responded to the monster threat with a barrage of biological and nuclear weapons. Seems your plan of leveling all civilization has really pissed them off. Silly little ants, they'll be nothing left to crush if they keep it up.
So, what's the plan?
*DESTROY ALL MONSTERS*
*AVOID WANDERING INTO WEAPONIZED BIOLOGICAL WASTE OR STEPPING ON A MUSHROOM CLOUD*
*LEVEL THE DAMN PLANET*
- CAST OF CHARACTERS -
The 400 TONNE BABE - Ironically this former women’s pro baseball player and aspiring model turned gargantuan after eating out-of-date weight loss pills. 400 is best known for uprooting and 'pitching' the Playboy mansion when Hefner declined to run her pre-400 photo shoot. The mansion and guests are reportedly still in orbit.
The BIG APE - An exceptionally large primate.
The SUPERSIZED SKINK - A skyscraper high reptile with chronic gingivitis.
The JELLY-LIKE MONSTROSITY - Despite having consumed whole cities the MONSTROSITY still tastes just like jelly.
The TIN CAN FROM OUTER SPACE - It's advanced alien robotics and sheer mass makes it the toughest of the six. Weak point: a single cell organism could out smart it's AI.
The HOMICIDAL MEGA-MASCOT – Fun Fudge confectionary company’s mascot Fun Bear was adored by customers almost as much as he was by Fun Fudge shareholders. So no questions were asked when it’s marketing department invested half a billion dollars on a top-secret Fun Bear ‘makeover’ to be unveiled at Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Super Sunday. Spectators at the venue sure got a surprise when the 1500 foot high, walking, talking, robotic Fun Bear MEGA-MASCOT tore the stadium down. Fun Fudge is suing rival company Fudgetastic for tampering with MEGA-MASCOT’S programming. |

 | Germany - Bring the wall down version 1.11 rated 3.1 (50 votes) by Shane Hunter | Bring down the Wall and reunite Germany. To conquer this map you must bring together not only the country but its two capitals as well.
Note the occupying country flags as they provide access into their respective occupied sectors in Berlin. The Wall is still in place and as such you may only cross between East and West Berlin via Checkpoint Charlie located between Tiergarten and Mitte.
Since Bonn is part of the West it can only be reached from the state that it resides in.
The city proper is also a bottleneck between its northern and southern districts. |

 | Japanese Empire version 1.4 rated 3.1 (50 votes) by Mark Bauer-modified by The Mapmaker | This is a mod of Mark Bauer's poorly done Japan map...I'm just kidding mb, it's a GREAT map...but the bonuses we're bogus, so I've divided the island of Honshu into the actual regions that divide the language (dialect), custom and cultures between the Japanese that live on Honshu. To make the map more geographically correct, I added all the correct names for the Prefectures that makeup Japan.

 | Saipan version 1.6 rated 3.1 (40 votes) by Kelvin Rodeo | 68 Countries, 20 Continents
Saipan is the largest island and capital of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), a chain of 15 tropical islands belonging to the Marianas archipelago in the western Pacific Ocean.
Located at latitude of 15.25° north and longitude of 145.75° east, about 120 mi north of Guam, Saipan is about 13 mi long and 6 mi wide. It is a popular tourist destination in the Pacific.
Starting Scenario:
A war has broken out on the island of Saipan as a large group of long staying guest workers and their supporters fight against the local government and the indigenous people of Saipan for their rights to citizenship or a better immigration status. The government denies all their requests and drives the guest workers to a point where they have no other option but to take up arms in their last chance to get their long overdue rights as citizens of Saipan. Will the government win and continue to oppress the nonresident population of Saipan, or will the guest workers win and take control of the island? The fate of the people lies in your hands....
Updates for version 1.6:
- Changed starting scenario
- Edited more country shapes for more geographical accuracy |
