did something change in the latest version?

/play gives me a "could not transfer player null" error

You have to type a 'player' after '/play' or it errors.

'/play U.S.A.' worked for me to take control of USA.

I figured that might work, but I prefer random selection instead of picking...I just didn't know why /play alone didn't work in this host.

Sorry guys, I didn't realize I could only have 1 outgoing host and I accidentally killed the game. Luckily it was only 1 round in.

So I restarted it. Come join again!

Russia needs Leningrad as a extra city square that is only accessible from the current Leningrad county but without factory (castle). Putting infantry there would bind some German forces in Europe. With factory it would probably change the balance too much.

And it would be more historically accurate.

Just a thought.

AND let me know what you guys' think of the Urals Castle version of WWII - better or worse?

Sorry, went to the movies and came back to find my power had gone out. Back up now and you should be able to join.

Cu3e had started with Germany, but that got wiped clean.

Sorry guys' my computer crashed again. But it looked like the Axis were well on their way to a victory, so GG.

It appears that I'm just not stable enough to run a daily host, but I thank Mentor and the ManicMonday Host for putting up a daily Urals Castle room.

So, this is a really old topic, but I lost my computer a few years ago and just now reloaded CastleVox's "demo."

Is the uralcastle map by mbauer still available anywhere? If so, I'd appreciate instructions on loading it - the "beta" option probably isn't available anymore, but any help would be appreciated.

I know, I should just buy the darn game but I'm not gonna use the credit card online this late and after some wine. :)

Thanks!

As this map was a variation of the original map with lil changes only, it was deleted from the server long time ago likely by someone with proper rights.
Send me a private message with your email address and I will reply with the map file attached. It's an easy thing to make it available without the plugin manager.

For those who concern, the map name is 'World War II - Urals Castle'.
