Re: Pirate Fleet
I am confused by this game. Not the general concept of "Battleships" in general (I was playing it when I was 5), but are we all working on the same board? If so, don't we just wait until someone hits and then glom onto the space surrounding that hit?
D-3, by the way

Yes, everyone is playing the same board. However there are a few caveats that make your strategy somewhat less than optimal:
1) I give extra shots in the next day for making a hit, so even if you don't sink the boat, your odds are improved for future days.
2) Glomming is no guarantee of succeeding, as it may be a long boat, or it may be on the other side etc. So instead of getting the kill, the Glommer may find himself just setting up the next time
3) Those who fire randomly also have a chance to discover BURIED TREASURE that may help them.
4) I will be CAPRICIOUSLY ending and restarting days, so if you're just waiting, you may find out that you missed your chance at shots, and the original shooter may get to sink his own ship.
5) Sitting around and waiting is boring. Get out there and man the cannons!!!!
And on THAT note:
DAY 1 has ended. DAY 2 has begun. Everyone has 2 shots again for the day, except for ShockandAwe & Jesterme who may fire THREE shots today. (kude still has his grape shot to fire at any point)

Re: Pirate Fleet
Grapeshot on B5.
if I use my grapeshot, and someone tries to fire on a square which is effected by my grapeshot, what happens? Do they get to reshoot, or do they lose their turn?

If someone tries to target a spot already tried (either by Grapeshot or someone else's regular cannon) it counts as a normal miss. No take-backs!

Whoops! Sorry bro, thought I posted this:General K wrote:h-3
You have found BURIED TREASURE: It's a BOX OF DYNAMITE. Drop the box of DYNAMITE on any unexplored square. If it's empty, you will miss as usual; If it contains a ship, the ENTIRE SHIP WILL BE SUNK! no matter how many other hits the ship has taken to that point! It is activated by the form:
DYNAMITE [COORDINATE]
