My map has an error code :(

Post by Icebiker » Tue Oct 26, 2010 6:22 pm

When I try to open my map, it gives me the error: "java.lang.exception: Duplicate <id>: 23

Error in country hallway.

I have many countries called hallway. Is the same name the problem?

Also, I am on a mac, and can't seem to find my map file. Yes, I looked in the expanded version of the application, but I still could not locate it. And you can not search for luxb files because they are ingrained in the app.

HALP!
THANKS!

Use this thread to help you find the file.
Others have had this issue before.

As for the duplicate ID problem,
something got screwed up in the actual luxb file.

You need to open the file with a text editor, locate one of the 2 lines that says <ID>23</ID>

and change it to the next highest number.
If the highest number of ID's you have is lets say is 35, change the 23 you have for ID to 36 and go from there.

This was surprisingly an issue i had one the first map i ever made.
Never had since.

Let us now if that helped or you are still having any issues.
