2 truths and a lie.
1. I once put on a tuxedo and stood next to the outdoor line at the Tony Awards, and had friends of mine loudly ask me for an autograph as though I was someone famous from the theatre world, hoping that others in line wouldn't know enough to know I wasn't, and also seek my autograph.
2. I have never seen an episode of any of the five Star Trek TV series.
3. I was once arrested and detained in Scotland under suspicion of being a spy.

I forgot I had posted this.
The correct lie is #2. I have only seen a few episodes of the original series Star Trek (though all 6 Original Cast movies), and only saw 1 or 2 episodes of "Enterprise," but have seen most of the other 3 series in their entirety.
I was accused of being a spy when traveling from France to Scotland in 1994. The story itself is decidedly uninteresting, and I was released from "custody" after about 45 minutes and a few phone calls. I went to the Tony Awards line (not the actual awards show) in 2001, when I happened to be dressed in a tuxedo for another event in New York City earlier that day. I thought my plan was excellent, but it turns out that everyone in the line was also wearing a tux or an expensive suit, so I didn't stand out at all and no one thought I was famous.

I had written a few good ones and couldn't decide so I combined them into groups one of 3 lies and two of 3 truths.
1) a. When I was in 1st year residency I was looking at a plain film xray of a mans pelvis with another resident and our attending. In the middle of the pelvis was the outline of a large carrot. My fellow resident asked "how did he swallow a whole carrot?" to which I replied "how did you get through medical school?"
b. I have known Bobak Ferdowsi (NASA Mohawk Guy) since childhood and he is one of my best friends. The night that the Curiosity rover landed on Mars I celebrated with him and a bunch of the others from the JPL team.
c. I have made 3,054 skydiving jumps in my lifetime.
2) a. I once took care of a patient who had a ball point pen shoved into each eye so all you could see was the stub sticking out of each eye. You could see where the points met near the back of the brain on the CT scan.
b. I have worked for several search and rescue teams, swam class 5 rapids at night time, fished dead bodies out of lakes, rappelled out of helicopters and taught rescue techniques to the Yosemite Park service.
c. The night my brother got married as I was falling asleep, I had a vision like I have never had before that someone had been hurt. About an hour later I had a call from my new sister in-law that my brother while at their honeymoon had jumped through a glass door and lacerated his legs. As he was uninsured I ended up sewing him up in a hotel at three in the morning.
3) a. I once took care of a patient on April fools days who was in labor and did not know she was pregnant. She was not obese and she had no known or obvious psychiatric history. She was very surprised to find out she would be a mother in a few hours.
b. Once while at nighttime cross country skiing in the High Sierras far from civilization I lacerated my eyebrow. After injecting myself with lidocaine using a mirror I made my friend who had never sutured anyone before practice on a torn piece of tape before he proceeded to sew me up.
c. When I was younger I bought train route maps and taught myself to freight train-hop. I took boxcars all over the Pacific North West.

2) is true
a. This was a prison inmate, it was reported that he did this to himself which was possible because he was pretty crazy but more likely it was done to him since he had done some pretty notorious things. He came in awake and able to speak although his speech was slurred and he had trouble moving his limbs.
b. One of the things I did for a few things when I was 18-19
c. One of the craziest and maybe the only mystical experience I have ever had.
