I've had an idea for a bot in the back of my mind for awhile, but haven't mentioned it before because I was dreaming that I'd teach myself Java programming one day...
Built especially for map scenarios, the bot would have some of the traits of Nationalism. It would collect income but not attack anybody, unless it lost one of it's starting countries. Then it would keep attacking until it had all of it's original countries back, then it would revert to being peaceful again.

Nice idea - I personally like the thought of 'Reaper Eater' one with the powers and skill of Kill Bot - but only targets Reapers!

Bad bad Mike! No need for reaper-killing bots - there are enough bot-firsting humans around that do just that!
Nice idea Sun, it could be used instead of the Empty bot. Too bad I don't have time right now. This could be the perfect project to learn java programing - have you abandoned the idea?

I was thinking about your idea the other day: I suggest first trying to modify Communist or Trotsky to incorporate your new behavior, so that you have a working bot as a base to build on.

Thanks for the tip GregM!
I started yesterday by modifying Trotsky, then eventually started over using BlankAgent and gradually added elements from Trotsky that I wanted to use.
I finished the place armies section, and now I'm working on the fortifying phase.

Sounds like you didn't need it.
Good luck with your coding.
