7) Most likely to brighten your day

This is a well deserved win for the princess of hugs, Mawnster.
She has a way of changing the mood of everyone with her hugs that she bestows on all present. I hear that the Guiness book of world records may be contacting her to see how many hugs she can give out in 1 day.

8 & 9 ) Homecoming Queen and King

This was the most contested race among all the categories. Our lux vixens have many adoring fans and it just seems that each of them are a queen to someone. Our King is none other than Drifter. He slayed the competition and was voted most likely to wear a tiara(crown). He has his hands full with 5 queens to rule over their dominion. We now have our first royal family in the history of Luxdom. King Drifter and his Queens Heartscoffee, Helen, Mawnster, Michelle, and Precious

10) Best all around luxer

Our last award, but certainly in no means least is for the best all around luxer. There were some great people mentioned in this category but the one player they would want on their team is *Manimal. I can see his dance ticket for Luxtoberfest survivor filling up already. Mani, you have proven to many a player that you show the skill have their respect.

erm... thanks! It was a lot of fun creating all the awards sorry they weren't exactly glamorous. The crowns were the hardest to design cause i didn't know what the girls wanted... so sorry if they weren't what you wanted! I'm glad to "share" the crown with all you girls!! Congrats! Drifter, nice job as well

Yow! I can't believe I'm even in this thread, much less get an avatar award. Thanks you guys, and thanks Lantern. I'm feeling pretty special right now.

I have to comment that it's hard to do av's under 12KB, but I understand bandwidth costs for running a forum. You guys ought to see some of the really cool av's I've got stashed away when we get 2MB bandwidth!

There always must be someone standing in 2nd place glaring at the winner.

Here are some fun stats:

Crex was our Clown in Waiting
Black Pope was voted forin 6 different categories!
The tide was so close to winning a crown in the Homecoming Queen category
The Homecoming King and Friendliest Luxer had the largest variety of Luxers in the competition
Maw received the most votes with 19!
A lot of old timers received votes: Preacher, Miss C, Kef, Sasquatch, Mbauer, Snype, Dustin

It's such a beautiful crown too

I can remember being back in high school and loosing my crown to snooty Kimberly LaRoush. So this crown sure does make up for it.

Please excuse my absence in responding, it has been an extremely heavy work load as of late...

Everyone, I am floored, shocked, and honestly humbled. I thank you all, especially while I live in a city that is so plastic as this one. Odd how the simple things matter the most. Again, thank you.
