Executing Lux in console mode.

Post by Incanus » Sat Jun 21, 2008 12:23 pm

Hello, i´m trying to do a risk robot and i would like to test it with other robots in many games.

I don´t know if there is a way to execute lux in console mode or something like that to execute many games.

If there aren´t anything like that, there is a way that i can load a board and some agents and control the game? I meant that, if you can give me the source code of that classes, i could do a console version deleting all the calls to gui methods.

Try a private headless host?

private headless host? i dont know exactly what you mean.

I can create a game "only bots" from the gui but its only one game. If i wanted to run 100 or 1000 games i must click in the gui 100 or 1000 times.

What i want is to run 1000 games without have to click in the gui and see who win more games.

Thank you a lot.

Try looking here: http://sillysoft.net/forums/viewtopic.p ... t=headless

You could also set Lux to autorestart after every game. It's somewhere in the preferences
