When will the mafia ever learn that crime doesn't pay?

I think they did learn... after all, there wasn't any in the game.

I have to say this was a horribly unbalanced game. The simple fact that there could be so many lie detectors all of the players would be ousted simply by not saying "I'm innocent". So many innocent roles that could determine guilt on top of that just compounded the issue.

I disagree.. what made it unbalanced was with the werewolf and the serial killer gone.. nothing else could actually "kill innocents other then an innocent with a weapon. so every night the sheriff and lie detectors could investigate and find bad guys with basically no fear of dying

Rhye argues that the unlimited supply of lie detectors in the shop was the unbalancer. When only 1 player gets it, it's fine, but with multiple lie detectors it becomes almost impossible to survive as a cultist, especially since the cultists were fairly useless in that they couldn't convert about half of the players to begin with.

The first post was updated last night with everybody's role.

I was disappointed that several players chose not to play at all. I even gave regular innocent roles the option of buying items and getting to perform actions, but not all took advantage of that.

In my opinion, tht CSI investigator role was too powerful, and the Homicide Detective shouldn't start the game with a lie detector. The Werewolf had no chance with a CSI Investigator, and I'm sorry I didn't think of that before starting this game.

I was expecting the Serial Killer to go quite far in this game, and they probably would have if they just used the sniper rifle every night to avoid being caught.

In any case, I hope everyone had fun playing!

MaW's cult had chance on Day 9. They just needed to vote off a law enforcement officer.

that wouldn't have happened because hearts(homocide detective), Djdee (csi), and myself (sheriff) were in contact every day since like day 4 or 5 . they wouldnt have been able to vote one of us off and we knew mike was innocent and Engie well. that's enough said.

gg and well hosted, it is hard to make a variation balanced and I think the innocents got lucky day one. I investigated MUD's death in the assumption he would be killed and stuck gold. I then took a gamble and talked to n00less and so was connected with jjazz from day 2. Hearts and Mike coming out with the same person I identified on day 3 joined us all up together and so we were pretty unstoppable even when I killed the nurse, who should have bloody fought back or come out rather than just roll over and die :)

my role made the werewolf easy to find but if there had been more activity I might have been too slow to pick them up. mafia and serial killer could use a sniper rifle making my role useless. No mafia was a quirk I sort of guessed quite early on when there were no muggings and few deaths. If there had been mafia I think I would have been dead pretty quickly.

JJazz was a star as was mike and hearts.

Thanks SunTzu for hosting.

FYI: I DID Kill Whirlplaid on Night one, and that's how I knew Big Will E Style was lying when he said he killed Mud, because only a clown like me would be stupid enough to kill randomly on night 1, and alas Big Will isn't a clown :(

Sorry Whirlplaid, but in my defense, it WAS pretty frickin hilarious.

There were three cults in this game. Mud, Milltycoon, and MaW1028 were the three original cult leaders.

We were lucky that both Engie and n00less didn't get converted to a cult with their sniper rifles.

I obviously look like a cultist as 2 out of 3 of them tried to convert me on night 1 :)

Actually, the rules state that cultists can't attack, but they can perform other actions.

It is always a tragedy when TSK dies too young.

Thanks for hosting Sun! I had a great time with this one. Bad girls really DO have more fun, for the record! ;)

TSK, on the bright side, you can't possibly die as young as Whirly (did, does, or will.)
