Some UI elements cut off

Both on my Pixel 4 and iPad Pro, I see some of the UI elements in the top corners cut off.
e.g., the pause button only partially visible.

Let me know if you need screenshots.

So many different screens! lol. Is it only the pause button, or other things too?

I can tell there's something in the upper left hand corner, but have never seen enough of it to know what it is. :P
